Liverpool Ready To Fight Man Utd Over Deal To Sign £106m-Rated La Liga Midfielder

Liverpool are ready to take advantage of Isco’s situation at Real Madrid by launching a move to sign the £106m-rated Manchester United target this summer

The January transfer window in now closed so it’s time to look at those deals that didn’t get over the line and those being lined-up for the summer. Today, Liverpool are linked with Isco….

Liverpool are ready to take advantage of Isco’s situation at Real Madrid by launching a move to sign the £106m-rated Manchester United target this summer, according to a report by TeamTalk.

Isco has helped Madrid win a whole host of top honours including 1 La Liga title and 3 Champions Leagues since joining the Spanish giants from Malaga in 2013.

However, the attacking midfielder has struggled to find his best form on a consistent basis this season as Madrid have almost certainly relinquished their La Liga title following a disastrous campaign.

Boss Zinedine Zidane is expected to overhaul his squad this summer and Isco has been touted in the media as one of the players who could be sacrificed during the shake-up.

To add to the speculation, TeamTalk are citing a report from Don Balon that claims Cristiano Ronaldo has held talks with president Florentino Perez and urged the club to cash-in on Isco this summer.

This uncertainty has led to talk of a move to the Premier League with TeamTalk reporting last week that Man Utd are lining-up a bid to lure Isco to Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho looks to build a squad capable of competing with City.

However, it looks like United will face stiff competition as the news outlet is now reporting that Liverpool are hoping to make a serious play for Isco’s signature at the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a world class attacker after failing to replace Philippe Coutinho in January following his move to Barcelona and Isco is the latest player to be linked with a move to Anfield.

The 25-year-old would be an excellent signing for either Liverpool or United but TeamTalk suggest it will take around £106m to secure a deal with Madrid so the English duo will need to dig deep if they want to lure him to the Premier League.
