[Match Preview & Predicted Score] Arsenal vs Everton

arsenal news

Arsenal take on Everton tonight at the Emirates. Last season’s corresponding fixture saw the London side draw 2-2 courtesy of a late equaliser from Tomas Rosicky. However this time nothing less than 3 points is required, if the Gunners think themselves to be serious Title-Contenders.

Injury News :

Samir Nasri has picked up an injury which may just rule him out for Barcelona so there is absolutely no chance that he is going to even show up here. Squillaci has been suspended due to being sent-off against Huddersfield 2 days ago. No more players have returned. Sagna should be back.

Probable Line-up:

———————————————————-Szczesny—————————————————————-

—Sagna—————————–Kosher——————————Djourou—————————–Clichy——-

———————————————–Song———————–Jack—————————————————

————————————————————-Cesc——————————————————————–

—–Theo————————————————————————————————————Chamakh—

————————————————————–RVP——————————————————————–

Subs: Almunia, Eboue, Gibbs, Diaby, TR7, Arshavin, Nikko.

Final Thoughts:

The boss did take off Chamakh at half-time during the match against Huddersfield so I guess he decided to rest him for the Toffees. Now here is what I think shall happen. We will start of with what you see above, but I’m pretty sure the positions will change occasionally. RVP may move right with Theo coming into the middle, or even Chamakh may come into the middle with RVP moving left. Arshavin deserves some rest, and may probably be brought on later.

Guns-Out,

THE ARMOURY
