TRANSFER NEWS: Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham & Man Utd Latest….

With the Premier League season over, attention turns to the summer transfer window. Here are some rumours circulating concerning  Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Maarten Stekelenburg to Tottenham?

With Huerelo Gomes having a difficult end of season, it seems Harry Redknapp is keen to find a new No.1 as Tottenham have been linked with Maarten Stekelenburg.

Newspaper The Daily Mail reports this and they join the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Schalke in the chase for the Dutch International. The Daily Mail also reports that Manchester City want-away goalkeeper Shay Given is also in Redknapp’s wishlist for this summer.

Denilson to leave for Roma?

It is rumoured that Italian club Roma are due to submit a bid for Arsenal midfielder Denilson as they are considering a move of 5 million pounds. Sportsmail revealed  last month the midfielder’s desire to leave The Emirates, prompting the Roma club to ponder a move.

Arsene Wenger has already given his consent for him to leave in the summer, but it is yet to be seen how much they are seeking for a player that has seen little playing time in recent months after the emergence of Jack Wilshere.

Barcelona and Manchester United to fight it out for Dortmund wonderkid.

Barcelona and Manchester United are set to enter a bidding war for now German International Mario Goetze. Goetze has been in scintillating form for this season’s Bundesliga Champions and might be seeking a move to a bigger club such as Manchester United or Barcelona.

However, Borussia Dortmund have revealed a few weeks ago that Mario Gotze was not up for sale, well, same applies to nearly all of their other players, because they want to be a German powerhouse for years to come. It still is yet to be seen whether an astronomical figure will force their hand.

Aston Villa have to cash in on Ashley Young

Brad Friedel has exclusively tole TalkSport that cash-strapped club Aston Villa might be forced into selling wing wizard Ashley Young in the summer. The Englishman has only one year left on his contract and could leave on a free transfer at the end of next season, and Friedel told Talksport:

Youngy has got a year left [on his deal but] I have no idea how his meetings are going with Randy Lerner. It gets down to a point that if a player is going to sign his contract then great, that’s fantastic but if he’s not then perhaps you have to cash in for as much money as you can.

This will alert the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
