Chelsea have joined the race to sign Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and it now seems Chelsea and Inter Milan have joined the race for the 24-year old.
The Daily Star reports Abramovich is determined to sign the £50million rated midfielder, a Chelsea source said
“The two players Abramovich always wanted from other English clubs were Fernando Torres and Fabregas.
“He eventually prised Torres away from Liverpool in January for £50million and would love to pull off a similar deal for Fabregas.
“Abramovich loves the way Barcelona play but realises it would be virtually impossible to sign Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta or Xavi.
“But he sees Fabregas as the nearest thing to that type of player.
“Chelsea have also had success before in luring a top player away from Arsenal when they signed Ashley Cole.”

Get real everyone.
1.Arsenal would never sell Fabregas to another UK Club.
2.Fabregas himself would never leave Arsenal for ANY Club except Barcelona.

Fabregas doesn’t care about $$$ other wise he would have left years ago, the only place he will go willingly is Barca, if Real or AC front up enough cash Arsenal may cash in but he would never go to Chelsea just for another 30grand on his contract

as a Chelsea fan would be a great signing he’s been great for arsenal over last couple seasons but clearly not going happen as he only wants go Barcelona
