Welcome to the third and final part of the Players Liverpool ACTUALLY Need article. This post is followed by the first two episodes – which we previously discussed about the ‘ideal’ centre backs and left backs for Liverpool.

As we all know, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has been busy searching for a left winger in the transfer market as he continues to rejuvenate the squad following the major signing of Jordan Henderson. In this post, we’ll be taking a closer look at the ‘ideal’ left wingers for Liverpool.

1. Diego Capel

A Spanish international who is currently playing for La Liga side Sevilla FC. The 23-year-old is a Sevilla Youth Academy graduate after a brief spell at the Barcelona youth team. Having helped Spain to the 2006 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship glory, Capel has 2 senior caps to his name so far – making his impressive debut for the senior side by coming out as a second half substitute in a 3–0 friendly away win over Denmark, setting up two goals.

Premiership sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in luring the Sevilla star away from his country soil.

2. Pedro Leon

Operates at both sides down the flank. The Real Madrid winger has pretty much fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu after enduring a disappointing season under Jose Mourinho. The 24-year-old is yet to feature in Spain’s senior side yet, having capped 6 times in the Under-21 national side. Pedro Leon only managed 6 appearances in the La Liga this campaign, with only 1 goal in the UEFA Champions League all season.

He is known for his excellent touch on ball with both his feet and is also a fast player capable of playing down both wings. West London club Chelsea have reportedly been setting their sighs on the Spanish winger.

3. Pablo Piatti

‘La Liga’s Hidden Jewel’ is what they call him. Standing at only 1.63 m (5 ft 4 in) tall, the 22-year-old sheds a slight resemblance with Barcelona’s sensation Lionel Messi (seriously!). Piatti’s had quite a decent campaign last season, with 8 goals and 4 assists from a total of 35 appearances for Almeria in Spain’s top division. Almeria may only be a tiny club located on the historical and geographical periphery of the Spanish game, but Piatti is certainly a player who demands a great deal of attention.

Like Lionel Messi, Pablo Piatti has pure intelligence in ball control and also precision in front of goal, a deadly finisher. Premiership side Everton have previously been told by Almeria to get £38 million for Piatti if negotiations between the two clubs are to start (which Everton of course rejected).

That’s all for the Players Liverpool ACTUALLY Need article, thanks for viewing guys!
