REVEALED: Where Man Utd’s Transfer Funds Are Coming From

Manchester United’s surprising spending spree is apparently being funded by resources from Qatar.

United are set to tie up deals for Aston Villa’s Ashley Young, Atletico Madrid David de Gea and Blackburn’s Phil Jones. The deals should be in excess of £60million leaving the remaining kitty for Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder. A source in the Daily Star Sunday said:

“United’s transfer business is the talk of the game.

‘‘And the big question is where all this money is coming from, given the level of debt at the club. The level of spending is eye-opening.

‘‘The word is that this is money from Qatar, where the royal family want to buy United from the Glazers.’’
