REPORTS: Neymar Agrees Terms With Real Madrid

Real Madrid have won the race to sign Brazilian superstar Neymar, according to report in Spanish based media outlet Marca.

Marca claim that the Spanish giants have agreed personal terms with the forward and the 19-year old will sign a six-year deal with Madrid, with the clubs still negotiating over a transfer fee for the player.

Despite the reports confirming the Santos striker has signed for Real, Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro strongly denied the deal, he rapped:

“Every time he plays a great game, I read in the newspapers that we have sold him for €45 million. It is a big lie.

“Neymar is not for sale and he intends to continue in Brazil over the next fifteen years.”

I think we can assume that nothing is in place yet. Neymar’s agent, Ribeiro, spoke of Madrid recently because he wants to start a bidding war between Chelsea and them. But it’s unlikely that Real Madrid will pay more than Chelsea; they don’t have the same spending power. And even if they did out bid Chelsea, Neymar would be overshadowed by Ronaldo. Neymar needs to be in a team where he can make his own mark. Chelsea is his best option, let’s hope Chelsea make Neymar another offer, Neymar has the potential to impact the English Premiership like Messi impacted La Liga. The crucial thing is this: does Neymar have enough ambition to leave Brazil; or will he end up another Brazilian statistic?

Sorry? You just said Real are already better than Barca, then said they need Neymar to be better than them. Sort your ideas out mate. Anyway, this is all to start a bidding war like ‘Gary’ said. Ronaldo moved to Spain and is outshone by Messi in the liga BBVA. At Chelsea he could BE the Premier League. I think Real is the wrong choice for Neymar because from what I’ve seen, Ronaldo has got worse since he went to Madrid and so has Kaka. Ronaldo used to be a contender for goal of the month, every month at United but i’ve seen a compilation of his oals from this season, albeit 53 of them, and most of them were tap-ins or headers. Kaka was no.3 in the world until he went there, now he is nowhere near no. 30 in my book. Madrid spent over 150million that summer and they’re nowhere near Barca now. barca took the league and champions league this season and Real Madrid only took the spanish cup by playing boring football, then dropped it under a bus. Enouh said!

Ronaldo wasnt outshined by messi in Liga BBVA. Barcelona perhaps outshined Real Madrid but Messi didnt outshine Ronaldo. Ronaldo is the top scorer of La Liga in history and you are telling me messi outshined Ronaldo in Liga BBVA?! haha. and Copa del Rey…hmmm Ronaldo outshined Messi. Messi outshined Ronaldo in the UCL. With an unfair red card to Pepe, no? 30% of your passes to be back to your defenders…i dont consider it fun football. Watch Penarol vs. Santos, thats fun football mate.

wait wait Kaka hasnt been playing good because hes been injured for almost the whole 2 years hes been there. Not because he was playing badly. Get your facts straight mate, you sound ignorant.
