Italian Giants Move For £40m Arsenal & Chelsea Target

By on July 5, 2011

Inter Milan are the latest club to be linked with Lille’s Eden Hazard.

L’Equipe reports that Inter Milan have shown an interest in the Belgian international and are prepared to pay the £40million asking price. Arsenal were originally leading the race to sign the winger but speculation has cooled recently linking the midfielder with a move to North London.

The 20-year old is believed to be the hottest property in Ligue 1 with a string of top clubs in Europe chasing his signature, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG and Arsenal.

French reports suggest Inter and PSG are favourites to land the Belgian but it remains to be seen if the Italian outfit will pay such an excessive price tag for one player. Money shouldn’t be too much of an agenda with PSG, who have recently had a major investment from a Qatar investment group allowing them to invest heavily on playing talent.
