Sir Alex: “Inter are Refusing to Sell Sneijder”

By on July 13, 2011

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the reported interest surrounding Manchester United and Wesley Sneijder is real with his latest quotes from the Manchester United Scandinavian supporters branch.

While the world media suggest that Manchester United are closing in on a deal for the Dutchman, after placing a £35 million bid to Inter, Sir Alex Ferguson is less positive about a deal, much like his latest comments about Arsenal’s Samir Nasri. Of the Senijder deal, Ferguson said:

“No, these reports [that a bid has been accepted] are not true. Inter refuse to sell him, so it’s a difficult situation. We’ll see.”

His comments at least confirm that Manchester United have an interest in bringing Sneijder to the club as a replacement for Paul Scholes, but it is Inter’s stubbornness that stands between the deal being completed.

I personally am an inter supporter and am praying that Wes doesn’t leave! But Y_P Nasri does not even come close to comparing to Sneijder! Nasri is no doubt an excellent player, but Wes is pure class…last year he was the true balon d’or winner let’s not forget! He won the treble with us and got Holland to the final! Nasri who?!!?
