John Flanagan, Martin Kelly and Jack Robinson all made their breakthrough years with Liverpool last year, so we look at the prodigies whom might become fan favourites next year.

Raheem Sterling, 16 (turning 17 in December this year)

He’s only sixteen, but he’s already being touted for big things for Liverpool FC. Not an official first team start nor appearance to his name, the winger/center-forward has forged a reputation in the U17 World Championships along with the the Liverpool FC under 18 team, where he has been dazzling opposing full-backs with his skill with the ball along with his remarkable speed.

It seems as if we got a gem of a player from Queens Park Rangers, and that would be especially true should he come forward and shine sometime next season. His main assets are his pace, ability to turn an opponent and his crossing as well as his shooting. Best moment for Liverpool so far? He’s scored 5 goals in a single match against Southend when the Under 18s took them on.

Adam Morgan, 17

A very promising center forward for the Under 18 along with the reserve teams. As many people will tell you, he’s got a h*ll of a left foot for passing and shooting. When deployed at a more advanced role, he can be very dangerous. He managed to nab goals in an impressive run of 13 games. Now that’s quite a record.

One would be reminded of very similar qualities of Robbie Fowler when watching young Morgan play. Really good positioning to often catch the offside trap napping and he’s got a very powerful shot on him.

Andre Wisdom, 18

Another fullback who’s on the rise at Liverpool FC. A very powerful defender when he’s dealing with an attacker and he’s a hard man to beat. Already a key figure for the Under 18s for two years now and he has featured at Under 19, 18, 17 and 16 for the English national team.

Another thing that is good about Wisdom is his versatility. Wisdom can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder and it has been used to good effect with his matches for Liverpool. Reads the game well and he’s one for the future.
