Arsenal, Spurs & Man Utd Blow As President Rules Out Star Man Move

Valencia president Manuel Llorente has dismissed claims their star player Juan Mata is heading to the Premiership.

The talented Spaniard has been linked Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United. However, Llorente claims money will not change their stance on the 23-year old and they are determined to hang on to their star man:

“The decision is clear and money will not change our position,” Los Che president Manuel Llorente told Superdeporte.

“Valencia will not sell to any club that wants to buy Mata.”

The claim comes after coach Unai Emery suggested Mata could leave if the right offer came in.

“Valencia have to be prepared for a footballer having to leave, either because he is not wanted or because a big club wants to sign him,” Emery told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope.

”We want him to stay and Mata has also expressed his wish to remain at Valencia, but we know that if a big-money offer comes in from any club and it’s good for both the player and the club, it could lead to his exit.”
