Arsenal Transfer News: £13m Striker Linked | Shock £10m Move Mooted

Eboue On The Verge Of Joining Galatasaray

According to TalkSport, Emmanuel Eboue has agreed personal terms with Turkish giants, Galatasaray. The deal is reportedly worth around 4 million pounds.

Eboue has been a great servant for the club and I’ve always admired his passion, whenever he puts on the Arsenal shirt. I wish him all the best of luck.

Arsenal Interested In Papiss Cisse

According to several sources, Arsenal are interested, along with both Schalke and Liverpool in the services of Freiburg hitman, Papiss Cisse. Papiss Cisse impressed last season in the Bundesliga, scoring 22 goals with only Bayern Munich’s Mario Gomez outscoring him. Freiburg reportedly value Cisse at around 13 million pounds.

Papiss Cisse, is a striker who plays better and is more effective, inside the penalty box and is a “fox in the box” type of player. If you want to know more about Papiss Cisse, check out my brief report on him.

Arsenal Keen On Wigan’s McCarthy

Interesting news reported by Sky Sports, as they state that the Gunners have enquired over the availability of  Wigan’s James McCarthy. He’s reportedly valued at around 10 million pounds and Liverpool is also said to be interested in his services.

James McCarthy is a very talented, 20 year old, Irish international midfielder who has impressed with Wigan. I like him and think he’s an excellent talent, but I believe that we should be focusing our attentions on the defence, as McCarthy is more of an attacking player. Despite that, McCarthy is an excellent talent, who has a very bright future ahead of him.

What do you think? What are your thoughts on Eboue and JET leaving the club? Should the Gunners go for another striker like Cisse? Do you think that the Gunners should go after McCarthy?

Please share your thoughts and opinions.

It’s funny, when i was thinking of my dream signings for this summer I came up with Cisse as my favoured Bendtner replacment. Although 13 million is a bit steep for someone who will undoubtably spend more time on the bench than on the field.

Is it just me but I thought if we had alot of talent and world class players in the reserve team this would mean that we wouldn’t have to buy players. We have just sold another starlet -JET- yet we will not replace him except with another exceptional talent that we will sell in 3 years. What the **** is going on. We are now the feeder club of the country.

The question i would be and like to ask the board is ” does Arsene really do his homework when he is signing new players or just sign players for the sake of it , Gervinho for example great signing but come all January he will be off to the african’s nation cup what Then? now he wants papiss cisse is he not another that will miss all january ? mate like i have said time and time again we need strong good British players or export that have played in the premiership , lets for get all this other cobblers ..

I am surprised you are an Arsenal fan . You might just love British players but there are very few who will be able to play the technical football required at Arsenal . Arsene sees the potential in players that be fully utilised in integrating thme to play for Arsenal in the Arsenal way . You have already seen Gervinho show his potential at only 3weeks old .They will work on him and clearly he is a better option upfront than Bendtner who failed to show his worth .

Arsenal need just two midfielder and one defender. I suggest wenger should go for samba in that defence, juan mata n one good south american midfielder. I believe that will help the team.
