De Gea Admits – I Need To Improve & Adapt Quickly

By on August 9, 2011

New Manchester United goalie insists he will have no problem adapting to English football, despite a disappointing display in the Community Shield on Sunday.

The 20-year old conceded two questionable goals in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over local rivals Manchester City. The young Spaniard failed to react to Dzeko’s 30-yard strike and arguably could have come to collect the cross that lead to City’s opener.

But when asked whether he was experiencing problems adapting, the 20-year-old said:

“No, football is football here and in any country.

“I have to adapt quickly and improve on the whole of my game.”

You cannot blame David De Gea.He is still 2o and has a lot to improve. You must give him his chance and i am certain he will be a great goalkeeper one day.Who told you great goalkeepers never make mistakes.Just cast a glance on the final of champions league 2011 where Van Der Sar did not judge the first and second goals well. His position was not right.
