Ace To Leave Arsenal In Search Of First Team Football

Nicklas Bendtner’s days in North London appear numbered after admitting he is set to leave the Emirates in search of first team football.

The confident forward has been told he is surplus to requirements at Arsenal and is a target for Stoke City and a number of German clubs. Bayern Munich were favourites to land the 23-year old but the German giants have cooled interested on the Danish striker.

Speaking at Hampden before Denmark trained ahead of Wednesday night’s friendly against Scotland, Bendtner was asked if he was set to leave the London club. He replied:

“Yes. I have done my part as well as I can and it’s up to Arsenal now to sort it out, I can’t do anything more.

“Hopefully it will be sorted soon but as I said to the Danish press, when I know something they will.

“I would like to play at a place where you are happy and play every week, that is the most important thing for any football player and hopefully that will happen soon.”
