TRANSFER NEWS: Chelsea Prepare Last Minute Swoop For Samir Nasri

Chelsea are preparing a sensational last minute bid for Samir Nasri, according to reports.

The Arsenal playmaker is expected to join Manchester City later this week in a £22million deal. However, Andre Villas-Boas is growing increasingly concerned with Chelsea’s lack of width and has already admitted to wanting a wide man/creative midfielder and reports are suggesting the Blues are preparing a last-minute swoop for the unsettled star.

The French ace has already snapped back at the Arsenal fans after they were heard singing abusive chants towards the want-away midfielder, he said on Twitter:

“I heard what the fans were singing about me on saturday and it is really disrespectful because i’m still a arsenal player.”

Wenger was hopeful he could persuade the winger to stay at the Emirates but this recent outburst and the late interest from Chelsea could force the Wenger into selling the former Marseille man.

Take Nasri if you want Chelsea, but leave Modric alone please. Tottenham do not want to be known as a selling club any more, because you can’t keep selling your best players and still expect to win things!
