Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners Move For Chelsea’s £10m Centre Back

A demoralised Arsenal are launching a surprise move for Chelsea’s Alex.

A demoralised Arsenal are launching a surprise move for Chelsea centre back Alex.

The Sun suggests Arsene Wenger is desperate to add some experience to his side especially after their humiliating 8-2 defeat to Manchester United yesterday.

The Emirates outfit have contacted Chelsea about Alex and the Blues are ready to sell, with Sky Sports sources also confirming Arsenal’s interest in the player but no official offer has been made as of yet.

The Gunners value the Brazilian at around £7million but their London rivals want £10million for the defender. Alex, 29, was an unused sub against Norwich on Saturday and is unsure of his future at Stamford Bridge with the powerful defender also linked to Serie A.

Juventus are thought to be interested in Alex with the former Italian giants looking to rebuild their squad having spent over £60million so far this summer.

I dont know why AW likes rejects, Alex is now not the player he was and a club that wants to win things like chelsea wants to offload him and that what AW wants. Real hot players that teams are struggking for AW will pull out its disgusting,is Arsenal the poorest club that cant compete for quality players?

Well it does not even matter again who this naughty professor buys. Arsenal is gone. It’s 4-4 we were crying about last season it’s now 8-2. Tell me how possibly can u erase dt? Even if he buys messi now, no enthusiasm again. Fans have been starved and interest is lost.

If Wenger keeps on reminding the fans that we do have cash to splash ,why don’t he just get Cahill & Alex, pay the amounts what their clubs want, get Hazard and some assistance for RVP.Time is not on our side.

On the bright side, he has signed the most important deal this season. Another three years extension with the clubs transport vehicles Citroen 😀

Is anyone else in denial that arsenal are now a sinking ship ! Too slow and too late now to recover. If you are serious of buying any player you have to pay premium !!

Its the board to sack AW and not him resigning. If AW is sick then the entire board is more sick. Arsenal is not the club to cheer for today. Let me just focus on my Little Hayley.

It was a great humiliation,AW need to buy experienced players, but bet it no club can do beta wen u ar down with 8 key players. These guys will surely bounce back if Arsenal board can introduce at least 3big players

I think wenger should’nt waste time from signing alex 4rm chelsea, bcos the 10milion is not too much for wenger to buy, moreso he try some possible replacement 4 samir nasri and fabrigas.
