Spanish star Fernando Torres admits he feels more at home at Chelsea, after revealing he even walks to Stamford Bridge with the Chelsea faithful.

Despite being sent off in Chelsea’s victory at the weekend, the former Liverpool striker has started to show the form that saw the Blues part with £50million for his services. The 27-year-old revealed he is feeling so settled in West London, having found a home near Stamford Bridge, that he has begun walking to matches with the home support.

“It’s different playing in England, especially at Chelsea than in Spain,” he said. “I can do this kind of thing. It’s a pleasure to be working and be respectful for the people.

“I don’t live far from the ground and it is nice to see the atmosphere before the game and all the fans waiting. They already know I’m coming but it will probably be more difficult next time!”

Torres has scored two in as many games but will be unavailable for Chelsea’s next three Premiership games following a straight red against the Swans at the weekend.
