Spurs Plan White Hart Lane Stay After Dropping Stadium Bid

Tottenham Hotspur have officially dropped thier legal bid over the future of the Olympic Stadium.

Spurs began legal proceedings when it was announced that West Ham United would become the tennants of the 60,000 seater stadium following the culmination of the Olympics next summer.

However, with the move collapsing last week, the North London outfit have since called off legal proceedings against the OPLC. The stadium will now remain in public ownership following an agreement between the OPLC and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

West Ham have confirmed they will look to lease the stadium in the future, for a fee of around £2m, while several reports claim Spurs are continuing with their plans to redevelop White Hart Lane.
