I have been suffering from anxiety attacks ever since those yanks “bought” our club, they are sure to subside when they leave.

here we go again. Suffers anxiety attacks away from home – should fit in well with the team then.
buyout clause in contract £50m. We would offer £15m. Slight gap to fill here.
Will lose chance of Champions League football if he joins. Sounds like he’s got everything going for him if he were to join us then.
Oh and I nearly forgot – with his build he looks just right for the Premier League. bet he can’t wait to play against the players who are so experienced in chopping your legs away.
Dream on Benitez……………………..

The buyout clause in a players contract is set by the Spanish premier league and is payable to the league – I’m not sure why this is, but it is a (criminally) not well-known fact in the UK. Spanish clubs will often accept well below the buyout clause for a player when they are made an offer that is acceptable to them. I am not saying that we could sign Navas for £15m – merely that the large buyout clause in his contract is not indicative of a similarly large asking price.
The panic attacks point is interesting – doesn’t bode well for his place in the Spanish world cup squad does it??

Jesus seems good, but I’d prefer Mata insted.
