Frank Lampard Nominated in midfield, do me a favour. Years gone by maybe, Modric should be there!!

Ferdinand shouldn’t be there either. It seems if you don’t play for the top clubs you don’t get a look in. Rio is useless and there are a few better defenders than him if you look outside the top 4

I agree with sunshine, also ya ya toure and David luiz? Don’t think so,the list is too long with too many players, should just be a top ten.

i am a spurs fan, however i feel that saying king over ferdinand/luiz and either modric or VDV over Yaya Toure or lampard is not a biased view so much?

With due respect to Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard, i strongly disagree with their selection because these two players have live past their prime… There are better players in the so- called small teams.

Why so many Chelsea defenders? Their defence gets torn open every week. Lampard’s hardly impressed much either.

I agree with Dex, it is difficult because the clubs winning things will have more players nominated e.g Barcalona. Barcalona are at their peak and are so good offensively that you really don’t know how well there defence would hold up if more questions were asked of them. Maybe I am a biased Gooner but I would not swap Pique for Vermaelen or Alves for Sagna. Although some players would be a certainty such as Messi and ronaldo I don’t think you will get the best world 11 from the list compiled.
