[Image] Picture Of Alleged Racist ‘Monkey Gesture’ – Man Now Arrested

Here is the image of a Liverpool fan doing racist ‘monkey arms’ gesture during Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United, a man has now been arrested.

Liverpool Monkey Gesture

This is the image that was posted on Twitter after Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United in their FA Cup tie at Anfield on Saturday.

The picture shows a man sitting amongst Liverpool fans doing an apparent ‘money arms’ gesture. The incident comes off the back of the Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra affair, whereby the Liverpool striker was banned for eight games for being found guilty of using racist language towards the United defender.

Following the latest incident, Sky News have reported that a 59-year-old man from North Wales has since been arrested for a racially aggravated public order offence, and will now face questioning by police.

It’s not been proven if the man was aiming the gesture towards Evra, but it will go down as another dark day for the sport when the back pages will be filled with things other than football.
