We’re Backing RVP, Evra, Bale & Mata – Think You Can Do Better?

We’d like to introduce MatchBall.com, a place where you can enjoy all the benefits of playing fantasy football but with the chance to bet and win real money

Matchball - Come Play

Another weekend of breath-taking Premier League action leaves us with just seven games before the season comes to a close. It’s heating up at all end’s of the table. The relegation battle looks certain to go to the last day, there is a four-way fight for Champions League qualification while the race for the title is hotting up between the two Manchester clubs. It really does promise to be an intriguing climax to the 2011/12 season.

During these exciting times there is only one thing that can make a weekend of football even more exciting; Fantasy Football. But not just any fantasy football, this is fantasy football with a difference.

Football Talk would like to introduce MatchBall.com, a place where you can enjoy all the benefits of playing fantasy football but with the chance to bet and win real money.  The idea is simple, you chose to play against one or more opponents either for free play or for real money then select a team of eleven players who you think will score the most points during that particular game week.

If you’ve chosen to play for real money, it’s winner takes all! We’ve done a full review of the game here: fantasy football. Check it out. If you’ve heard enough already and want to get involved, click on one of the banners and sign up. It couldn’t be simpler and takes about 1 minute to do. We’ve already selected our team for the up-coming weekend and we’d love you to come and challenge us.

It wouldn’t be fair to disclose our entire team but we’ll give you a few players who we’re backing to excel next week. Man Utd play QPR at Old Trafford and not surprisingly we think this will be an easy home win. We’ve gone with (at least) one United defender in Patrice Evra as we feel Sir Alex’s side will definitely keep QPR at bay and keep a clean sheet.

Chelsea are also at home and entertain relegation battlers Wigan. Juan Mata is a steal in the MatchBall game so we couldn’t resist having him in our team as we think he will cause the Wigan defence all sorts of problems. Mata is joined by Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale. Tottenham have a tough trip to face Sunderland on Saturday but we can see Welsh winger doing some damage on Wearside.

The big game of the weekend sees Arsenal welcome Man City to the Emirates and we think the Gunners will cause plenty of problems for Roberto Mancini’s side, who seem to be going off the boil at the wrong time of the season. Robin van Persie has seen his goals dry up a little in recent weeks but we’re backing the Dutchman to get back on the scoresheet on Sunday and have him leading the line in our fantasy league team.

The last tip for you is we also think Liverpool will get back on track against Villa at Anfield, but your not getting any more players out of us!

Go read our full review of the MatchBall fantasy football game and if your feeling brave, join up and come and challenge us. Our nickname is ‘Football Talk‘ and you can search for us through the ‘My Friends’ section. We can then set up individual ‘duels’ or set up a tournament. Let the games begin….

All new players who register by April 30th will receive £5 free. Also until the end of April, all players who deposit within 24hrs of registering will received 100% cashback up to £20 if they lose their first match.
