Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney joined in the calls for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to stop the play-acting and stay on his feet.

Drogba was in action on Wednesday night for the Blues during a stunning 1-0 win over Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi final. The Ivorian showed the good side of his game by netting the vital winner just before half time, and the powerful forward was a threat on the rare occasion Chelsea put an attack together.

However, his performance was marred by a series of over-the-top falls and amateur dramatics which drew criticism from all corners of the footballing world, including United striker Wayne Rooney.

During the game, Rooney took to his official Twitter account to say “Drogba. Your a good player but pls get up.”
