Liverpool are lining up a £15m move for Benfica midfielder Nolito, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

Kenny Dalglish is said to be drawing up a short list of targets ahead of a busy summer, where he’s expected to make a number of new signings in a bid to challenge for a top four place next season.

The Mail suggest that Spaniard Nolito is one of the names Dalglish is considering, with the midfielder impressing in Portugal with Benfica this season, scoring 8 goals in 22 games.

The 25-year-old spent three years with Spanish giants Barcelona but after failing to break into the first team, he rejected a new contract offer and elected to move to Benfica on a free transfer in 2011.

Despite impressing in his first season with the club, the Portuguese outfit are reportedly willing to cash-in and accept offers in the region of £15m.
