Man Utd On Verge Of Sealing £7m Kagawa Deal

By on May 3, 2012

Manchester United are on the verge of completing a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa, according to talkSPORT.

The exciting playmaker will enter the final year of his contract this summer but has refused to discuss terms on a new deal. The Japan international has been tipped to join the Red Devils in recent weeks after making it clear he wants to move to England and play in the Premier League.

Quoted by talkSPORT, the German giants president Michael Zorc said:

“Shinji is going to play in England because he has officially rejected our offer of a new contract.”

talkSPORT are reporting that United have agreed to pay £7m for the 23-year-old and Kagawa will put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at Old Trafford that is expected to earn him around £5m-a-season.

These reports have not been officially confirmed by either Man Utd or Dortmund, this news is just what talkSPORT are reporting at this time, but it does seem the transfer of Kagawa to United is edging closer by the day.

yes, kagawa is fantastic and good vision players but we want also other defansive players like Javier martines ,he is the best defensive midfielders players like alex song of arsenal.if you can sir ,buy modric or hazard.

    Wat? another Asian?
he’s an amazing playing but not proven in europe. german’s league isnt like spanish or even the bpl. he’s cheap tho 🙂 buying cheap will enable fergie to bring in more new faces i hope. gaitan’s an almost done deal. maybe soon heading to OT are hazard or martinez? i’ll doubt modric for him is too expensive at 40million! Oh yes, alba.. he’s a good cover for evra..since fabio is heading to benfica.. GGMU!

    Oh yes..
heading OUT , definitely owen , anderson, fabio , berba ..and ji sung! i doubt carrick will be sold..coz he had a terrific season..he’s been oustanding for his age. giggs-scholesy , retiring soon.. maybe fergie shud start be looking their replacements sooner the better.. wif owen-berba out – we wud probably welcome lorente 🙂

the current squad for united is of promissing players that even pros are forced to stay on the bench.
kagawa is only another player that will fortify the club and mostly cause phycological imbalance to our rivals. we just pray that the deal proceeds as well and for kagawa to settle in time unlike the likes of Torres n others.
    welcome to glory kagawa®™

If that really happens I think it is good. But for united to change radically, more players like Gaitan, Hazard, Martinz, Alba , Morra, and even Modric and some other center backs have to come in place of Anderson, Carrick, Ferdinand, Evans, Berbatov, Fletchere, Park, Owen, ,Pogba, and even Young and the likes that have to go away.

      May 4, 2012 at 9:29 am

i think…Young will stick around. he’s excellent for United and England , not to forget 🙂 Pogba? he’s stil young. Give him time. If he goes, Fergie probably will loan him.

Man u needs to strengthen its midfield, that is were the ailment is,you have enough strikers,Rooney,Nani,Valencia,Welbeck,Chicharito,Young,Babatov,Owen though the last two can be offloaded. In the defence your stopper Ferdinand is unable to cope with the EPL speed, shop for a replacement.

Kagawa looks great. I’m glad we are being practical in going after players who are near the end of their contract and want to move. Why waste money trying to buy players like Modric or Sneider when their clubs don’t want to sell, you just end up paying insane amounts of money. If we spend wisely we can buy several good players – better then one big signing who might disappoint.
