I think Jose season is being very highly over rated. Don’t get me wrong he started of superbly but he was extremely disappointing after Christmas and I do believe he could do with competition as Jon Flanagan isn’t quite ready yet

If we only have a limited transfer budget, then we do not need another left back as we have cover in the form of Jack Robinson, and Enrique was hardly a liability last season. we only need to focus on midfield and wingers. 3/4 of our squad is complete we just need a pacey skilled right sided winger and a 20 goals a season striker like bent to offer competition and another option to carrol. Not forgetting we have lucas to come back which will lbe like having a new signing all over again

In the second half last seasson, Enrique proved why, at 25, his price was only 6mn & why he had never been called for Spain. I do think that incapability of Downing put extra pressure on him but still he is too ordinary to bank on as the No. 1 LB.
Cissokho is probably a better tackler than Enrique; both of them are quick, probably Enrique quicker, but Cissokho has a better crossing ability. Don’t think, either is a reliable dribbler & I don’t want FBacks to dribble too much. If you have proper quality wingers (unlike the Elglish garbage KD wasted 20 mn for) your FBacks should be solid first & flamboyont later.
If Aly comes, I think he ‘ll become 1st choice.

Seriously…honestly…I don’t get why everyone keeps insulting our players. Even with Dalglish’s crappy style of play with his crappy selections from his average squad, our problems weren’t in defense or midfield…CHANCES WERE CREATED…BUT NOT FINISHED!! If we had just one high-conversion-rate finisher (the calibre of Papiss Cisse) we would’ve taken Arsenal’s place on the table. My advice to Rogers – get us a finisher with a minimum of 6/10 conversion rate. If you can get us two of these, you can continue using Dalglish’s boys and game plan, WE’LL STILL MAKE CHAMPIONS’ LEAGUE!!!
