Harry Redknapp is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur after talks with chairman Daniel Levy on Wednesday, according to Sky Sports News.

Rumours have been circulating in recent days that the 65-year-old is set to end his tenure in charge at White Hart Lane, after negotiations over a new contract stalled.

Redknapp has only one year left on his current deal and is understood to want a long term contract, but chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly only willing to offer him a one-year extension.

Sky Sports News now claim that discussions between Redknapp and Levy took place on Wednesday and it was agreed that the former Portsmouth boss will part ways with the club. A severance package is now being discussed and it’s believed that Harry will leave his post on Thursday. Everton boss David Moyes is now the bookies favourite to take over in North London.

Redknapp has guided Tottenham to two top four finishes in the three full seasons he’s had in charge, but the Londoners missed out on Champions League football next season after Chelsea’s penalty shoot-out win over Bayern Munich last month.

Spurs blew a 10-point lead over rivals Arsenal, who eventually pipped them to third place in the league, with their dip in form coinciding with Redknapp being linked with the England job.
