Liverpool Open Talks For £6m Serbian Attacker

Liverpool are in talks to sign Juventus winger Milos Krasic and are keen to land the £6m-rated Serbian attacker this summer. Find out all the details here.

The summer transfer window is open and Football Talk will bring you all the latest transfer news doing the rounds in the papers. Today, Liverpool are linked with a Juventus winger.

Milos Krasic

Liverpool are in talks to sign Juventus winger Milos Krasic, according to the Mirror.

The report claims that West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has been in Italy this week trying to land the 27-year-old on loan next season.

However, it’s said that Juve are only interested in selling the Serbian attacker and that Liverpool are already holding talks over a possible £6m move.

The Italian champions are keen to raise funds to buy a new striker ahead of their return to the Champions League next season, with Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez thought to be high on their wish-list.

Krasic has fallen out of favour in Turin and only made seven appearances in Serie A last term, so a fresh start is almost a certainty this summer as long as Juventus can find a buyer.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is on the look out for a creative wideman, and the former CSKA Moscow ace would fit the bill.

FT Verdict

Krasic seems certain to leave Juve this summer after a disastrous season in Italy, and at £6m he looks like a good buy given his quality and experience.
