Brazilian starlet Oscar has confirmed Tottenham have enquired about his services, but insists he wants to remain at Internacional, according  to Sky Sports News.

Oscar joined Internacional in 2010 and has gone on to make over 60 appearances for the club, scoring 18 goals. He is now regarded as one of the brightest talents in South America and will represent Brazil in this summers Olympic Games in London.

Reports earlier this week suggested Spurs had made a move for the £20m-rated ace after new Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas identified the playmaker as a key transfer target this summer as he continues to rebuild his squad ahead of next season.

The 20-year-old has confirmed the north Londoners have been in touch and spoken to his agent, but has insisted he has no intention of joining the club at White Hart Lane.

Oscar added that he was unaware whether Tottenham had submitted an official offer as yet, but he wasn’t letting the speculation get to him and he’s only concerned with continuing with Internacional.

“Tottenham did contact my agent, but I am focusing on Internacional,”

“That [interest] will always happen. I don’t know if there was an official offer,”

“But for those that are young and impress a bit, this is normal. I can’t worry about this. I’m not thinking about leaving Internacional now”.
