Juve Officials To Fly In For Suarez Talks

Italians champions Juventus have refused to give up on signing Luis Suarez this summer and will look to hold talks with Liverpool next week, according to reports

With the summer transfer window in full swing, Football Talk will be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news throughout the summer. Today, Juventus are once again linked with Luis Suarez.

Italians champions Juventus have refused to give up on signing Luis Suarez this summer and will look to hold talks with Liverpool next week, according to talkSPORT.

The report claims that Suarez remains the Serie A giants number one transfer target this summer as they look to add a marquee name to the squad ahead of their return to the champions league next season.

talkSPORT believe the clubs sporting director, Giuseppe Marotta, will fly to Merseyside next week to meet with Liverpool officials to discuss a possible transfer.

It’s understood Marotti is confident he can land the 25-year-old after reports emerged from Uruguay suggesting the striker would be open to a move to Juve this summer.

However, new Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers claimed earlier this week that he has already held positive talks with Suarez over extending his contract and the former Swansea manager won’t let his star striker leave without a fight.

Football Talk Verdict

I’m not convinced by this latest piece of transfer gossip from talkSPORT. Suarez is under contract with Liverpool and hasn’t been agitating for a move, despite the reports coming from Uruguay recently, which could very well have been taken out of context.

I don’t think there is any chance Suarez will leave Anfield this summer, as Rodgers will be looking to build his new-look side around the talented forward. The chances are, if Marotti does fly to Merseyside next week, he’ll quickly be told to forget about signing Suarez before jumping on the next flight back to Turin.

The juve officials may be wasting t. heir time as all LFC officials are in America on the pre-season tour. About time the
press stopped trying to sell our player’s.

@liam Yes the can. Juventus have set aside 25 million this summer to sign a top striker, when you add that with the fact that Milos Krasic has been touted with a move to anfield and the good transfer relationship between Juve and Liverpool also makes this possible.

Well, Luis is easliy worth 40 million £, so no, they cannot afford him.

No way in hell Rodgers would consider Krasić !!
He is even thinking of offloading Downing and Carroll because they do not fit well in to his system why would he want another out and out winger ?!
Suarez however is made for the system Rodgers prefers so if they don’t have Torres-like transfer founds they should not bother considering Suarez .

Why don’t the press just shut up and leave Suarez alone? Is it possibly that they all hate Liverpool FC and want to cause as much disruption as they can? More than likely. Is it possibly they are doing the bidding of their lord and mast Old Red Nose? Very Likely. Are the Italians actually flying in to the UK? I doubt it. Finally are they going to get on Terry’s case and condemn him like they did Suarez. NO, he’s a Londoner white and English.

Im a Juve fan and I have to say Suarez is a fantastic player and Liverpool should be looking to hold onto him. this is just speculation though and the press should leave it be untill Liverpool declare they will listen to offers for the boy. If however he were to Join us, and its a big IF although ill probably get stick from liverpool fans for this but please hear me out, I think you should take Jelavic from Everton. he is cheap and also fantastic and waaaaaay to good for everton. I really think liverpool could make him 10 times the player.

Firstly why would Suarez leave Liverpool when he is Idolised, In Italy he will be corrupted by the Italian mafia and probably be hated lol and start throwing away chances on purpose, but all in all he is a liverpool player till his contract is up or he requests a transfer, if that happens better have £40m plus otherwise Jog On! you dirty Italians!

What’s laughable is the scum in the national media who portray themselves as honest, principled, trustwothy ‘journalists’when they’re nothing more than devious, lying, propaganda merchants. Their agenda against LFC is transparent.

….some of these comments left by the users are HILARIOUS!! Juve should set their eyes in AVP, he’s openly said he’d come over and he’s more influential!

This transfer will definitely happen. Suarez realised last season that Liverpool will not challenge for major honours soon. He stayed quiet out of loyalty to King Kenny, but with King Kenny gone, he see’s this as the perfect opportunity to make his move. Trust me on this, he’ll be a Juve player within a month.
