Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has confirmed he wants to move to the Premier League, amid reported interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham.

Lewandowski, who lead the line for co-hosts Poland at this summers European championships, scored 22 goals in 34 games last season to help guide Dortmund to the Bundesliga title.

That impressive form has attracted interest from clubs throughout Europe but it seems the player is keen on a move to England.

According to the Daily Star, the Polish hitman is being tracked by Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham this summer and the trio are likely to have been alerted by the 23-year-old’s comments.

“This [the Premier League] is a league in which I would like to play and I hope that I will manage to be there,”

However, Lewandowski still has two years to run on his current Dortmund contract so any interested party will have to break the bank to land the highly-rated hitman. The German clubs director Michael Zorc understands his strikers desire to play in England, but warned the negotiations are best left to the experts:

“There is nothing wrong if someone dreams of the Premier League. But we are experts in handling [these situations],”

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is drawing up a list of possible replacements for want-away striker Robin van Persie, while Tottenham are also on the look-out for a new front-man this summer.

Manchester United supremo Sir Alex Ferguson is also believed to be a huge admirer of Lewandowski’s and may look to link him up with former Borussia Dortmund team mate Shinji Kagawa, who made the move to Old Trafford earlier this summer.
