Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing Olympiakos striker Kevin Mirallas, according to Sky Sports News.

The report claims that the Premier League duo have been tracking the Belgian ace, who has been a huge hit at Olympiakos since joining the club from St Etienne in 2010.

The 24-year-old has netted an impressive 34 goals in just 49 starts for the Greek outfit and that form has now attracted the interest of several clubs throughout Europe.

Chief among them are Premier League pair Arsenal and Liverpool with Sky Sports suggesting the striker, who has a buy-out clause of just €8.25million (£6.4million), could be set for a move to England this summer.

It’s understood that both clubs will now seek to hold talks with Mirallas’ agent, with Olympiakos prepared to allow any interested parties to speak with the player due to the buy-out clause in his contract.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is drawing up a list of possible replacements for want-away striker Robin van Persie, while new Anfield manager Brendan Rodgers is also hoping to strengthen his attacking options this summer, and it seems Mirallas is high on both their agendas.
