Arsene Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis watched on in the pouring rain as reported Arsenal target Ganso took part in Brazil’s training session on Thursday.

The Brazilian squad are using Arsenal’s London Colney as their training base ahead of this summers Olympic Games and it provided the Gunners supremos with the perfect opportunity to have a closer look at Ganso.

The Daily Mail reported recently that Arsenal had contacted Santos and registered their interest in the midfielder as Arsene Wenger looks to add a creative midfielder to his ranks this summer, and perhaps in a twist of fate, the boss will be able to run-the-rule over 22-year-old over the next few days before the Arsenal squad flies out on their pre-season tour of Asia this weekend.
