Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is expected to seal a move away from the club within the next week with AC Milan and Galatasaray fighting it out for his signature, according to the Mirror.

After joining Arsenal in 2005, the Danish front-man has failed to establish himself as a first team regular at the Emirates and was sent out to spend a year on loan at Sunderland last season, scoring 8 goals in 28 games.

It now seems boss Arsene Wenger has told the striker he can leave the club on a permanent basis this summer, and the Mirror claim the 24-year-old could seal a move within the next week.

Italian giants AC Milan and Turkish outfit Galatasaray are both vying for his signature, with the Gunners believed to be ready to sell for around £7.5m.

His departure will provide funds for Wenger to make further additions to his squads this summer. The Frenchman has already brought in two strikers in Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, but the Mirror understand his next target is Malaga winger Santi Cazorla.

Just heard this rumour. chelsea are to enter the bidding for van persie after giving up on cavani and are prepared to include benayoun and sturridge in the deal or just a straight cash deal. Rvp will jump at the chance of not having to uproot his family imagine a line of three hazard rvp mata playing behind a rejuvenated torres.

Now that ganso somehow ruled himself out of a move to Arsenal, we should look to Paulinho. Or perhaps young sensations like Christien Eriksen or Younes Belhanda to play that attacking midfielder role behind Giroud. .

I can’t believe that the board even consider selling him to a rival. Who cares where he wants to go, he’s under contract so the club can pick and choose which bids to accept. Making the player happy is hardly a consideration after the statement that he made. The mere fact that Arsenal haven’t come out and declared that they will not sell him to a Premiership club shows the preference for funds over success. I think it’s down to the fact that we never see the transfer funds received fed back into the transfer kitty. I just get the impression that the board will be thinking, we’ll probably end up behind City, United and Chelsea anyway so why not make some money out of him.

He should just go to wherever he wishes but the truth is that RVP has been unfair to Arsenal.

Bedtner should be gone if vela has gone. we also need Chamack to go, Squilachi, park and other fringe players to pave the way so that we may be able to get space in the squad.
