M'Baye Niang

Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of M’Baye Niang after the Caen starlet revealed his interest in joining AC Milan, according to Sky Sports.

The 17-year-old striker has become one of the most sought-after youngsters in Europe after breaking into the Caen first team last season, scoring 5 goals in 30 appearances, and he now seems certain to move on this summer after their relegation from Lique 1.

Niang looked to be heading to Arsenal after spending time on trial with the Gunners at their London Colney training base last month, but boss Arsene Wenger has been unable to agree a fee after seeing two bids rejected by the French outfit.

Manchester City and Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Niang after both clubs invited the teenager to spend some time training with their first team squads, but it seems all three Premier League sides could be set to miss out after the player was left ‘really impressed’ following a visit to AC Milan’s training ground.

When asked for his thoughts on his trip to look around Milan’s facilities, Niang is quoted by Sky Sports as saying:

“I was so impressed, it’s magnificent,”

“I am really interested in Milan.”
