Chelsea Transfer News: Spaniard Set To Sign
European champions Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Marseille defender Cesar Azpilicueta, with the Blues set to pay between €8-10m for the right back

Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Marseille defender Cesar Azpilicueta, according to Goal.com.
The Spaniards representatives are understood to be in London putting the finishing touches on the move, with Chelsea believed to be paying between €8-10 million for the talented defender.
Roberto Di Matteo has been desperately looking to sign a right back this summer following the departure of Jose Bosingwa and has been linked with a whole host of names.
However, it seems his search is over with Azpilicueta the man set to battle Branislav Ivanovic for a starting spot at Stamford Bridge next season.
The 23-year-old is set to undergo a medical and agree terms on a long-term contract, but the transfer is unlikely to be confirmed in time for him to play in Sundays Premier League opener against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

Now that Man u. Have bought Vampersie and the also have Rooney, Kagawa, Welbeck, Babertov and Javier Hernandez and Man cit have Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko and Balotelli. If we really and seriously want to challange for tittle this season then we need a world class striker to support Torres and Sturridge. If Chelsea are seriously interested in Hulk, they should bring out money and sign him as fast as possible so that he can fastly link up with his new team mates and adapt as fast as possible now that the league is just starting. If it is Cavani they want, then they should act fast but what I know is that both Cavani and Hulk are dangerous players in front of goal post so Chelsea should sign one of them fast. And if they think those players are expensive then let them sign Moses fast.

l support u bro. Chelsea should stop all the noise and rumours every season and sign one hut striker. If cavani and Hulk are costly then Moses can come in as alternative at least Moses is not as costly as Hulk and Cavani and l believe he has the same potentials as Hulk and Cavani and can even do well and better than Messi and Ronaldo if given the chance in Chelsea shirt.

why is chelsea delaying moses signing and moreover i don’t want hulk at chelsea because he is not a good and sharp striker,but instead go for edinson cavani please… And i will be very glad to see cesar azpilicueta jet into london 2mao….4 medical and to discuss personal time….UP BLUES…we gonning for the EPL AND GOING TO DEFENE OUR UCL…

Azpi won’t be battling Ivanovic for anything. Azpi will start and Ivanovic will move back to a central position where he belongs with Terry. Luiz will see more bench time from this move.

Everyone here are only talking about position that is overloaded at the moment. No one realize that we have marin, oscar, rami, danny who can play at right wing. I feel a backup striker and a CDM is what we need. Yesterday i heard some news about a club bid for m’villa. Why don’t we bid for him considering he is young and somewhere around €20 million.
