Arsenal start their 2012/13 champions league campaign with a tough away trip to French champions Monpellier on Tuesday night, and we have the 18-man squad for the game.

Boss Arsene Wenger has made two changes to the squad that makes the trip to France after Saturday’s 6-1 demolition of Southampton at the Emirates.

Midifelder Abou Diaby is recalled after missing the weekends action with a minor knock picked up while on international duty last week. Diaby has been one of Arsenal’s best performers so far this season and Wenger decided to rest him against the Saints to ensure he would be fit to face Montpellier. Russian attacker Andrei Arshavin is the man to be left behind.

Regular No.1 Wojciech Szczesny has been forced to miss the match after picking up an ankle injury. Youngster James Shea is drafted in with Vito Mannone expected to start between the sticks.

Here is the full squad to face Montpellier as announced on Arsenal.com earlier:

James Shea
Carl Jenkinson
Kieran Gibbs
Thomas Vermaelen
Per Mertesacker
Laurent Koscielny
Abou Diaby
Mikel Arteta
Santi Cazorla
Francis Coquelin
Aaron Ramsey
Theo Walcott
Andre Santos
Olivier Giroud
Gervinho
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Lukas Podolski
