Hungarian Claims He Was Denied January Move To Liverpool

Hungarian midfielder Balazs Dzsudzsak claims he was denied the chance to join Liverpool in January after his current club Dinamo Moscow refused to do business.

Despite the transfer window now being closed there will still be plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers, so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Liverpool failed with an attempt to buy Balazs Dzsudzsak in January.

Hungarian midfielder Balazs Dzsudzsak claims he was denied the chance to join Liverpool in January after his club Dinamo Moscow refused to sell him, according to Sky Sports News.

The 26-year-old only moved to Dinamo in January 2012 from fellow Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala and has put in some impressive performances during his first year at the club.

It seems that form hasn’t gone unnoticed with Dzsudzsak revealing that Liverpool were interested in his services during the January transfer window but claims Dinamo refused to do business. While the winger was disappointed to miss out on the chance to move to England, he feels it’s something that may be resurrected in the summer.

“I stay, but it wasn’t up to me.

“Dinamo didn’t let me go, not even to Liverpool. I can’t say any more because it is not my position to do so.

“I want to say that in Hungary people have written me off, but it seems that some respectable teams still believe in me.

“I am not that disappointed. What I couldn’t do during the winter transfer window can be done in the summer. It’s also a nice feeling that in Moscow they have faith in me.” Dzsudzsakis quoted as saying by Sky Sports News
