Despite the transfer window being closed there is still plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Marco Reus responds to transfer reports.

Chelsea target Marco Reus in his Mönchengladbach days
Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has responded to reports linking him with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United by insisting he’s happy in Germany but refused to rule out a move to the Premier League at some point in the future, according to Sky Sports News.
Reus made his name during a three-year spell at Borussia Mönchengladbach before moving to Dortmund last summer in a £14.5m deal and has been in sensational form at the Weserstadion, scoring 15 goals and laying on 11 assists during his 39 games this season.
It seems his form hasn’t gone unnoticed in England with Sky Sports claiming Manchester United have previously been linked with a move for the 23-year-old while it’s suggested that Chelsea have also joined the race for the exciting attacker.
Reus has responded to these reports by claiming he doesn’t pay too much attention to the speculation over his future and insists he’s happy at Dortmund but refused to rule out a possible move to the Premier League at some point in the future.
“Chelsea, too? “Really? But the press is often wrong so why worry about it?”
“You should never say never [over a move to the Premier League]. But I have a valid five-year contract with a team I love.
“We have plans to win trophies here. I also love the city because everyone is so passionate about football.” Reus is quoted as saying by Sky Sports

Reus has been one of the stand-out performers in the Bundesliga this season so it’s no surprise he’s being linked with a move to the likes of Chelsea and United. However, he seems happy at Dortmund and has a long-term contract so unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing him in the Premier League any time soon.
