Manchester United are expected to battle it out with French giants Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Real Madrid attacker Angel Di Maria this summer, according to the Express.

The Argentinean wingers future at the Bernabeu has been the subject of much speculation this season despite the fact he’s still a regular in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.

Di Maria moved to Madrid in 2010 from Benfica and has shown his brilliance at times, contributing an impressive 22 goals and 55 assists in 126 appearances, but his consistency has been called into question on more than one occasion leading to reports that he could be on the move.

The Express claim Mourinho is growing tired of the 25-year-old’s frustrating display’s and president Florentino Perez is willing to cash in on the tricky attacker this summer.

Run-away Premier League leaders Manchester United are tipped to move for Di Maria with the newspaper suggesting Sir Alex Ferguson will go head-to-head with Carlo Ancelotti’s big-spending PSG for his signature at the end of the season.
