Liverpool drew 2-2 with Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday afternoon with Luis Suarez scoring an injury-time equaliser but the game was overshadowed by another controversial incident from the striker.
Midway through the second half Suarez tangled with Branislav Ivanovic in the area off the ball and replays showed the Uruguayan had bitten the Chelsea defender on the arm. It was a disgraceful act that wasn’t seen by the officials so it’s almost certainly something the FA are going to look into and a lengthy ban seems likely.
Even the most die-hard Liverpool fan can’t defend Suarez on this occasion. He’s got previous for this sort of thing as he was given a seven game ban for biting an opponent during his time with Ajax, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he receives a similar punishment this time around judging by the pictures and the video below.

Its disgusting behaviour. The draw should be taken off them and the win handed to Chelsea and the player should have a minimum 10 game ban. Millions of pounds depends upon getting these deciscions right and the FA has failed again.

So hard to believe that a player call suarez will do such a thing on the field, I thik the FA should take a drastic measures to deal with him. UP Gunners!!

Mr Harrison, a fundamental rule of football is that once a game is played, the score stands no matter what.
As for the alleged bite, if it turns out to be true, then such behaviour IS inexcusable and I’ve no doubt that he’d be banned.

Benitez is a bad coach he want chelsea for no good after making us draw and he is saying suarez did not bite.

Will the FA actually do anything? I have a hard time believing Suarez will receive any punishment at all.
If Liverpool have any class then they will give their own punishment as well, other than a weak apology that includes Rodgers basically turning a blind eye.
