Guardiola ‘Determined’ To Sign Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere

Pep Guardiola is ‘determined’ to sign Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and will launch an audacious bid to lure him to Bayern Munich when he takes over in the summer.

With the summer transfer window set to re-open, there is plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Bayern Munich eye audacious bid for Jack Wilshere.

Pep Guardiola is ‘determined’ to sign Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and will launch an audacious bid to lure him to Bayern Munich when he takes over as manager in the summer, according to the Metro.

The former Barcelona boss is set to take over the reigns at the Allianz Arena at the end of the season and the report claims he’s already identified Wilshere as a key signing to enhance the already hugely impressive squad he’s inheriting.

Wilshere signed a new long-term contract at Arsenal back in December and has been with the club since he was 9 years old, so it will surely take a special offer for us to even think about selling the 21-year-old.

However, it seems the Champions League finalists are not being deterred and the Metro claim they will approach Arsenal this summer with Guardiola believed to be confident Wilshere will be available at the right price and is determined to make him a Bayern Munich player.

According to the newspaper, key to the Spaniard’s thinking is that he feels Wilshere may be persuaded to leave the Emirates in search of trophies and will be tempted to try his luck in Germany.

As much as Bayern may be a tempting proposition for any player, I really don’t see anything coming from this, despite what the Metro say. Wilshere is a true Arsenal man who loves the club and I’m confident he will not only still be with us next season, but he may even be installed as captain this summer.

He’s only 21 and due to a series of injuries, he hasn’t even had the opportunity to play a full season with us yet, so I’m not going to get too worried. I think we’ll have a few seasons out of Jack yet before he even considers leaving. Hopefully if we can match his ambition and start filling the trophy cabinet again, he may even be a one-club man and stay his entire career.

Arsenal is richer than bayern Munich so I wonder how it will happen. Arsenal is no longer under pressure having paid a substantial part of the stadium loan and also enjoying bumper endorsements. Bayern have no chance of signing our players except they want the deadwoods.

Total nonsense … Barca were an arrogant and altogether self righteous arses, but pep was a refreshing and remedial aspect of that club. He always conducted himself in the right way and respected his opponents… unlike his players and the clubs board members. This is just journos trying to wind up gooners and sell papers, because, apparently, gooners must have the largest fan base who read this dross.

Munich have absolutely no need for wilshere, regardless of how stupid this rumour is… they have martinez, kroos, Schweinsteiger, gustavo, Shaqiri, two young players in Can and Højbjerg… and they have just bought Gotze. Thats a trio of kroos,Shaqiri and gotze for the future.

They need defense and striker options for the future, not talented young midfielders.

I recall Guardiola saying there were “20 players as good as Wilshere in the Barcelona youth academy” in 2011. Why don’t you sign them instead of poncing off our players like you did when you were at Barcelona? Scumbag.

It makes absolutely no sense. They already have to work Gotze into a stacked midfield. There is also a rumor that he wants Tello. Who is Wilshire going to displace? Unless Pep is going to play Gotze on the right in a 4-3-3, Whilshire would probably end up on the subs bench.

It makes perfect sense, Arsenal sell all their top players, Jack is the only one left, Wenger and Kroenke are about profit, once 25-30 million is mentioned they both will pack Jack’s bags

This is professional football you dummies, loyalty doesn’t exist

Wake up and smell the coffee

I think I remember Pep said “he [Jack] is a good player but I have 5 like him sitting on the bench.”

    Story doesn’t hold water.

To be fair if Wilshire does want to win something then leaving is a certainty. Munich as pretty good option.

Another exclusive stortransfert any substantial “quotes”. All these football blogs make me laugh, just name as many names in the football world as
we can and surely one transfer name will be correct. All the rumours are started by the bloggers to direct traffic to thier sites in return for additional ads payments. How many of them foresaw Nacho Monreal?

Newspapers are dying out. This started in the Independent, and I think it is on its last legs. The journalists wil print anything to sell newspapers.

There is nothing of merit in this story, and it really is sad to see how low journalistic standards have fallen.

Why would Pep want Wilshere with that midfied? Why would Wilshere want to go? Why would Pep pay the 35M-40M it would take? Where is the quote from Pep saying this?

Don’t journalists even bother any more? If you buy this rag, or an online subscription to it, I hope you realize you are not buying news, you are just buying anything the journalist thinks you want to hear!
