[Teams] Stoke City vs Tottenham: Confirmed Line-Ups

Tottenham take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday lunchtime looking for a win to leapfrog Arsenal into fourth. Here are the confirmed line-ups.

Tottenham take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday lunchtime looking for a win to leapfrog Arsenal into fourth.

Spurs hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were taken out of their own hands after a 2-2 draw with Chelsea left them lying one point behind the Gunners with two games to play, so Andre Villas-Boas will be hoping for a win today to put pressure on their north London rivals ahead of their clash with Wigan next week.

Midfielder Mousa Dembele missed Wednesdays draw with Chelsea but is back among the subs today while Emmanuel Adebayor retains his place up front after an impressive display last time out. Here are the confirmed line-ups for the game:

Stoke Team

Begovic; Shotton, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson; Adam, Whitehead, Nzonzi, Etherington; Walters, Crouch

Subs: Sorensen, Cameron, Jones, Owen, Kightly, Wilkinson, Jerome.

Tottenham Team

Lloris; Walker, Caulker, Dawson, Vertonghen; Lennon, Huddlestone, Parker, Dempsey; Adebayor, Bale

Subs: Friedel, Naughton, Carroll, Dembele, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Defoe

2.1 to spurs……but at a cost. At least one red card in this game. Crouch to score. Ade and dawson for spurs!
