Arsenal take on Vietnam in the second game of their pre-season tour of the Far East and Arsene Wenger has named a strong side.

The Gunners kicked off their pre-season preparations with an easy 7-0 win over an Indonesian All Star XI on Sunday afternoon, and it seems Wenger is expecting a tougher test today as a whole host of first team players start today.

Of the eleven only Serge Gnabry isn’t a first team regular and the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Tomas Rosicky, Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny, Lukas Podolski and Bacaray Sagna all start. The French defender will play at centre-back though as Arsenal remain light in that position with Thomas Vermaelen out injured.

We can expect the boss to make several changes throughout the game to give the squad a chance to get some minutes under their belt. Here’s the confirmed team:

Arsenal

Szczesny, Jenkinson, Sagna, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gnabry, Giroud, Podolski

Subs: Fabianski, Martinez, Miquel, Mertesacker, Aneke, Ramsey, Walcott, Akpom, Wilshere, Zelalem, Ryo, Eisfeld, Olsson
