Tottenham Hotspur continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Espanyol on Saturday evening. Here’s the confirmed line-up for the game.

Tottenham continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Espanyol on Saturday evening.

Andre Villas-Boas men fell to a 5-2 defeat to Monaco last weekend so will be hoping to do better against the La Liga outfit. New signing Roberto Soldado will be hoping to put in a positive performance as he starts up front while fellow new-boys Paulinho and Chadli also get a chance to impress.

Hugo Lloris starts in goal while yougnster Fryers plays alongside Dawson at the back in the absence of Vertonghen. Gareth Bale continues to miss out as question marks remain over his future.

Here’s the confirmed line-up

Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Fryers, Rose, Dembele, Chadli, Paulinho, Lennon, Soldado, Sigurdsson.

Subs: Friedel, Kaboul, Naughton, Stewart, Huddlestone, Sandro, Townsend, Defoe

Good to see Kaboul and Sandro on the bench,hopefully we’ll see them get an outing.
Would like to see us get Capoue for centre back/DM cover(though I do rate Fryers)but still want another quality striker.
If we keep Bale and generally stay injury free we have a decent squad.
Anyone know what’s actually wrong with Holtby?
What’s the coo with Coentrao?
Is there a give us him and we’ll waive the owed Modric fee?

Come on ISM that was a bit unfair!
I thought that ISM’s points and questions were fair and in fact I’d like to know what is causing Lewis Holtby.
