Arsenal moved top of the league with a 3-1 win over Stoke City at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Here are my ratings for Arsene Wenger’s men:

Szczesny 7/10 – Continued his fine recent form with another solid display between the sticks. Almost got a hand to Cameron’s volley but just couldn’t keep it out.

Sagna 6.5/10 – Solid enough without being spectacular. Was given a few problems early on but soon settled and scored the third with a fine looping header.

Gibbs 7/10 – Another decent display from Gibbs. Only fault was he gave away possession in the build up to the Stoke goal but otherwise his fine form continued.

Mertesacker 7/10 – Slightly at fault for the Stoke goal as he went to sleep but made up for it with a fine header to restore our lead.

Koscielny 6.5/10 – Dealt with Jones well enough but was sloppy with his distribution at times.

Flamini 8/10 – Excellent performance from the Frenchman. He marshalled the midfield and led by example with his all-action display. MOTM

Ramsey 7.5/10 – Our best player of the first half and he scored his 7th goal of what’s been a prolific season so far with a tidy finish in the 5th minute.

Ozil 7/10 – Just the 3 assists for the German! His free-kick was parried by Begovic straight to Ramsey before his inch perfect deliveries were headed in by Sagna and Mertesacker. Not at his most influential in open play but still showed glimpses of his quality.

Gnabry 6/10 – Thrust into the limelight after Walcott pulled out shortly before kick-off. Looked a little nerved early on and was shy to do too much on the ball, but grew into the game and started being more adventurous.

Wilshere 6.5/10 – Was on the end of some rough treatment from the visitors but was impressive in flashes when he was on the ball. Looked tired in the second half and was eventually subbed.

Giroud 6/10 – Not his best day but he still worked hard against the Stoke defenders.

Subs

Monreal 6/10 – Solid display from the Spaniard.

Miyaichi 6/10 – Looked sharp on the ball but had little effect on the game.

Arteta N/A – On too late
