Arsenal get back to Premier League action when we welcome Norwich City to the Emirates this weekend.
We currently sit top of the league, ahead of Liverpool on goal-difference, but could be down to second by the time we kick off with the Merseysiders playing Newcastle in the lunchtime kick off.
Arsene Wenger revealed the latest team news on Thursday and on the whole things are looking positive. Bacary Sagna is rated at 80% fit so could return but I’d like to see Carl Jenkinson retain his place with the Frenchman being given an extra few days rest before the Borussia Dortmund game next week.
Midfield has become a hotly contested area with Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini all vying for starting spots. Ramsey is surely a dead cert to start while Flamini has almost made himself indispensable after some fine displays.
Wenger has elected to play Ramsey on the right in recent weeks to accommodate Arteta but with Rosicky available again I’d like to see the Czech international start out wide with Flamini and Ramsey in the middle.
Santi Cazorla is also back in contention after recovering from a foot injury so we could see him start on the left wing. Wilshere could potentially start in the ‘hole’ behind Giroud with Mesut Ozil a doubt after picking up a knock in midweek. He faces a fitness test but I’d give him a rest with Dortmund coming up.
Here’s is the team I’d go with:

What do you think about our team? What would your starting eleven be? Share your suggestions below.

My central midfield pair would be Flamini and Arteta and my attacking midfield trio would be Gnabry, Cazorla and Rosicky…I would keep Wilshere, Ozil and Ramsey on the bench. ..we have a lot of matches coming up in the next few weeks

If we want to win the league then we shouldn’t mess with our team selection. We should play the best team available, points in the bag. Maximum points from these type of games will decide where the title ends up. Take each game as it comes, play the best team and get the maximum .

i don’t wilshere is creative enough to play in that central role. That position is meant for people like Ozil and Cazorla who knows when to release ball not someone that holds ball unnecessarily and get kicked for it all the time.

Spot on, I would predict the same line-up.
Arteta on the bench, yes – he can come in replace Ramsey if we are 2-3 goals up to stabilize the defending side. Sure to rest Ozil for the Dortmund game. Wilshere to go out around 70 min, then Rosicky moves to no 10 spot in the hole behind striker, with Gnabry coming in (he got more decisive runs at defence than TW).

This line up is okay but we can rest an extra player to fit Gnabry seeing we have Dortmund coming.

i have to agree wt Sam, we need to take each game as it comes, for now we need to collect maximum points so we rather play the best available team for each match. we myt be winning but i feel we still struggling a bit as evident by failing to keep a clean sheet even wt weaker opposition.

The starting is ok, but Cazorla should play in his best position, in the centre. We also need Gnabry and Ryo on the bench, 2 flank players who has pace factor, somethin’ that missed from WBA game. And offcourse the OZ, just in case we need an extra attempt to break Norwich defense.

Let wenger use d appropriate team that will secure three crucial points, regardless of who he starts or moves to the bench. 3points all the way.
