Arsenal entertain north London rivals Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup third round on Saturday evening.

Arsene Wenger already has a number of injury concerns to contend with and is expected to rest a few of his key men for the game with his priority being to maintain the clubs title push.

Laurent Koscielny and Bacary Sagna could get a breather with Thomas Vermaelen and Carl Jenkinson coming in to the back-four. Nacho Monreal should continue at left-back with Kieran Gibbs still nursing a knock.

Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla may also get a rest with Tomas Rosicky and youngster Serge Gnabry pushing for recalls, while Lukas Podolski is odds-on favourite to start up front with Nicklas Bendtner injured. Olivier Giroud is close to making a comeback but Wenger is likely to be cautious with the Frenchman and not risk him from the start.

Spurs boss Tim Sherwood may also rest a couple of players but is likely to keep faith with the majority of the side that beat Manchester United in order to try and build momentum.

Zeki Fryers could come in for Danny Rose with the left-back still working his way back to full fitness after two months on the sidelines, while Nacer Chadli could be given a start on the left of midfield to offer more protection to young Fryers.

Sandro and Paulinho remain injured so Mousa Dembele should continue alongside Etienne Capoue in midfield while Lewis Holtby might come in for Christian Eriksen to play behind Roberto Soldado with Emmanuel Adebayor ruled out through injury.
