Arsenal will be out for revenge as they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates on Sunday for their FA Cup fifth round clash.

Ahead of the game, Arsene Wenger has been speaking at his pre-match press conference today and gave Arsenal.com a team news update.

The good news for the Gunners is that midfielder Mathieu Flamini is available after serving a three-match ban following his sending off away at Southampton. The Frenchman is expected to come straight back in to the starting eleven this weekend.

However, Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow as it looks like attacker Santi Cazorla is likely to miss out after being struck down by illness. Wenger confirmed that the Spaniard is still in bed so it seems unlikely he’ll be fit to face Liverpool this weekend.

Wenger told the clubs official website:

on the players coming back…

We have only one player back, that’s Flamini. He comes back from suspension, not injury, so he should be fresh and available. That is the positive news we have.

on any players dropping out…

From Wednesday night I don’t think we’ll lose anybody. I have just been informed Cazorla is ill in bed today so he may not be available for Sunday.

Arsenal will continue to be without the injured Aaron Ramsey with the Welshman still nursing a thigh injury, and he joins Kim Kallstrom, Theo Walcott, Thomas Vermalen and Abou Diaby on the sidelines.

The north Londoners will be looking to bounce back following last Saturday’s 5-1 mauling by Liverpool at Anfield although Wenger has hinted he may look to make some changes for the game ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
