Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon, here’s the team we think Tim Sherwood will select for the game.

Spurs slumped to a 3-1 defeat to Benfica in the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie on Thursday night and with this game coming around so quickly, we can see Sherwood making a few changes to his starting eleven.

Michael Dawson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury that he suffered against Chelsea last weekend and with Vlad Chiriches also out, it leaves little option but to start Younes Kaboul and Jan Vertonghen at the back.

Danny Rose made his comeback off the bench in midweek so he’s expected to come in at left-back while Kyle Walker is likely to be passed fit after being taken off late on against Benfica as a precaution.

Aaron Lennon has been disappointing of late so Sherwood could opt to give the fit-again Andros Townsend a start on the right, while Christian Eriksen is certain to start on the left after another excellent goal in midweek.

Roberto Soldado is expected to be overlooked once again meaning Paulinho could be selected to play in the ‘hole’ behind former Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor up front.

Here’s the team Sherwood could go with:
